Finding Inspiration
Most people that like to create will tell you that their inspiration largely comes from nature so it feels a bit of a cliche but that doesn't mean that it isn't true.
I'm lucky enough to live near woods and the beach and having an energetic dog we are out walking at least twice a day giving me ample opportunity to drift off and notice the beauty around me. I usually start by photographing the things that draw my attention so I can look back at it when time allows. The tiniest thing can trigger the stirring of an idea.
I'm currently working on some ideas inspired by the shapes and ridges in the mud when the tide is out or the beautiful shapes created in sand that has been moved by the sea.
