Keum Boo Jewellery

Keum Boo is an ancient Korean technique of applying pure gold foil to silver using heat and pressure.

The silver is prepared, then heated and the foil is applied by burnishing. With the applied pressure it fuses to the surface of the silver. Its a wonderful technique and the shows of the bright buttery colour of pure gold.
